The system points, people decide.
Three ground rules, enforced in how we deploy — camera placement, alert design and access defaults — not just written here.
- The system points, people decide. Nobody is stopped, searched or disciplined because software said so. Every alert is a pointer to a clip a person reviews.
- Customers are not suspects. Behaviour and counts, not faces or profiles. No cameras where people change. Mics stay off.
- Staff get a fair deal. Patterns by zone and shift, not individual scoreboards. Attendance workflows run at designated entries with notice and consent.
Deployment rules
Camera placement
Public and operational areas only. No changing rooms, restrooms or prayer rooms — we walk out of deployments that ask for them.
Signage
Monitored areas are signposted by the customer before go-live. The trial checklist includes it as a gate.
No microphones
Mics stay off, for legal reasons. Audio analytics is out of scope unless a lawful basis is documented.
Human review
People review every alert. Face recognition (if enabled): consent, lawful basis, human approval — and it's off by default in retail, fuel and healthcare.
Retention with deletion
Footage lives for the plan window, then it's deleted. Incident clips needed for cases are exported through the audit-logged workflow.
Access on need
Role-based views: guards see today's clips, managers see analytics, admins see everything. Every access logged.
Face recognition policy
A separate opt-in module — never bundled silently. Requires documented lawful basis, informed consent where applicable, and human approval on every match. Behaviour and counts remain the default everywhere else.
